After many years of working together as one of our brand partners, we are thrilled to announce that Chris Brandewie will be joining Outform as Vice President of Strategy and Design.
Chris has over 25 years of experience in designing a wide range of brand driven retail and restaurant concepts. During this time, he has led diverse teams of specialists on both domestic and international projects for a number of marquee companies. In his most recent role as Head of Store Design for Best Buy, Chris has been responsible for the creation of concepts for the fleet of 1400 stores. He has partnered with world renowned brands such as Sony, Samsung, and Microsoft on the creation of their in-store vendor experiences, and also led the design of the Best Buy Mobile concept in conjunction with Car Phone Warehouse.
Prior to his role at Best Buy, Chris has held senior positions with such well recognized design firms as Chute Gerdeman and WD Partners, as well as running his own consultancy, AstroMan Studio. Along with this work, Chris has held adjunct professor positions at The Ohio State University and The University of Minnesota. Chris was also a Faculty Member of the Path to Purchase Institute.
