Airports are a key point-of-sale location for liquor brands, but travelers are usually rushed and distracted in this environment and easily overwhelmed by competing brand messages. How can we capture the attention of busy travellers during their duty-free shopping experience? Our approach was to instinctively connect through the dazzling Absolut display, positioning the brand in a point of prominence. Placed atop an animated LED glass base, Absolut’s bottle is illuminated from within in order to leverage the familiarity of its iconic bottle design. By elevating the experience of the bottle, Absolut was able to turn heads and drive sales.
