Another Successful Collaboration

For the past 36 years, spanning across nine FIFA World Cups, Budweiser has proudly held the title of the official beer sponsor for the world’s largest sporting event. The 22nd World Cup in Qatar created an opportunity for the “King of Beers” to reach new international audiences while giving Outform — a company of passionate football fans — the chance to showcase their love for the game.

Temporary Display with a Lasting Effect

To capture the excitement of a month-long battle to the podium, Outform created the World Cup Spectacular — a three-dimensional dome visible from every angle, modeled after the traditional pentagonal pattern of a football. While the red corrugated structure provides shelter for cases of beer, the foundation of the display is a bright, paperboard base inspired by the golden “cup” hoisted in the air by the champions.

A Podium of Winners

After 64 intense games, and nearly 400 displays nationwide, the World Cup created three winners — Argentina, Budweiser and Outform at the 2023 Shop Awards. For another consecutive year, Outform emerged as a respected winner for Outstanding Merchandising Achievement. The Budweiser World Cup Spectacular proved that Outform has an irrefutable prowess for creating temporary solutions that not only sell, but capture feeling and imagination. This is all because of the passionate individuals behind-the-scenes and across the globe, much like the fans that spark a spectacular display.
