Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix Weekend

Formula 1’s growth in the last two years has been nothing short of incredible. As a sponsor for the Williams Racing team, Michelob Ultra was presented with a unique opportunity for Miami’s big race week—market to customers during a peak promotional period. To create the perfect execution for racing fans, the beer brand relied on its strong business relationship with Outform to bring shoppers a temporary display that channeled their same level of passion and excitement.

Speed and Precision

The scale and importance of Miami’s Grand Prix weekend was one that did not allow for any margin of error. Michelob Ultra’s request required Outform to fully exercise every area of its expertise—design, innovation, creativity, accuracy and speed. Much like an F1 pit crew, our dedicated temporary division jumped straight into the job and successfully advanced from concept to installation in a matter of weeks.

Crossing the Finish Line

For Michelob Ultra’s Formula 1 showcase, we designed the Hero Display—a multi-dimensional, corrugated model of the Williams Racing car crossing the finish line. The half-scale display was part of a South Florida Publix takeover that capitalized on the fanbase present for the race. This execution, located at front of store, welcomed shoppers and successfully handled the responsibility of highlighting the brand, the car and driver, all in one single display. The Hero Display earned the respect of existing fans and drew the attention of new fans.
