
Outform were delighted to have the opportunity to work with Motorola on their latest project, their amazing new enhanced audio quality technology, Crystal Talk. This technology enhances sound & filters out background noise during a mobile phone conversation, even in extreme situations such as loud music at a live concert. The task was how to inform consumers about this innovative technology at retail locations.
After a brainstorming session in Motorola’s Chicago headquarters, the team came up with a solution. The idea was to create an in-store “Challenge”, inviting consumers to experience the difference in a live demonstration. A glass booth was designed, where consumers could experience Crystal Talk in an enclosed environment. The booth is equipped with a 7” LCD screen that plays Crystal Talk demo movies and background noise while customers talk on Crystal Talk enhanced phones
with representatives standing outside the booth. The booth is also fitted with hi-fi speakers and spotlight illumination for maximum effect. Recently, at the CES tradeshow, the Motorola team was delighted with the reaction to this display. The booth was a huge success, and drew in a large crowd and a lot of interest. Many retailers are now in discussions to place displays inside stores.
