The beauty industry has certainly seen a turbulent couple of months, with the current COVID situation predicted to cause a 20-35% revenue decrease for 2020. Pre-COVID, 85% of beauty product purchases were made in-store, with Gen Z and Millennials – the perceived tech-literate generation also doing 60% of their shopping in bricks-and mortar stores.
